The idea of a corporate office lifestyle was one I never considered, and to some extent it was a baffling lifestyle to me - to be stuck in a work cubicle from 9 in the morning till 5 in the evening daily, and stuck in repeat for 5 days a week, was a lifestyle I simply could not fathom. The Sisyphus Manifestation is a photographic documentation of myself living a life that is not mine, where I "lived" as an accountant. Directed by an actual accountant working in a corporation, the artwork is a reenactment of the daily routines of his life by myself, using the actual spaces of his everyday reality, while following an autobiographical script on his work life. 

The Sisyphus Manifestation is a work that seeks to re-evaluate my prejudiced perspective on the corporate lifestyle, while at the same time it is a work of reflection from the actual subject - the office man and corporate culture. Going through many different perspectives, the project has manifested into a multi-layered work where there are multiple exchange of roles between the artist and subject in being the observer and the observed, the director and the actor.
