The Stockholm Syndrome Project is a triptych I began doing as a critique of the Individual and his/her identity in institutions/society. Inspired by the Absurd, as well as my own personal experience going through a local institutionalized education system and living in a commercialized and elitist society, Stockholm Syndrome brings the familiar commercialized images to the viewers, presented in a bizarre and absurd way as a way of questioning the institutionalized conventions of society.
